At Hilltop we believe that there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing. We consider our playground and outdoor space an extension of our classrooms. There is so much great learning that occurs when we provide structured and unstructured time for children to explore the world around them. Our schedules include 2-3 hours of outdoor time each day and we do this in almost all weather! Children will be prepared to engage and discover if they are comfortable. From cold-weather gear to sunscreen and insect repellent we work to ensure that the children are prepared to gain the most from their outside time.
